The Academic Secretariat is one of three sections which make up Governance Services. The Academic Secretariat:
• manages and co-ordinates decision-making structures and processes to ensure:
• is heavily involved in academic policy making • provides executive and administrative support to the Academic Board, Academic Council, Legislative Committee and Academic Year Planning Committee • manages the University Policies website • co-ordinates and monitors the University's cyclical review processes • provides policy analysis and advice • provides training for committee executive officers and for the Faculty Administrative Officers • works with the Registrar on a wide range of matters of significance in the Registrar's Office and in the wider University | Have a question on student matters? available for current students (www.ipoint.uwa.edu.au) "How the University Works" powerpoint now available. |
